The RPAMS Strike vehicle is engineered specifically for the warfighter. The current comparable vehicle in the inventory is a militarized commercial vehicle that lacks the power, useful load, and cargo carrying capacity. The RPAMS is a much more capable vehicle. In a side by side comparison, SF operator feels like the RPAMS would significantly outperform current SOF ATVs in all the applicable criteria.

The RP Strike-C platform is simply put: bad-ass! In numerous austere terrain operations, the vehicle out-classed every other vehicle in performance, navigation and reliability. The run-flats looked like porcupines attacked them in the desert but we were able to maintain operations even while running over the mesquite.
Federal Agent
I am extremely pleased with the off-road rescue capabilities of our Strike-M4. Till now, we did not have the capability to rapidly ingress a rescue team and effectively extract injured persons using one vehicle (no trailer). We have conducted numerous rescues with the Strike-M4 and will continue to do so.

Speed is security when it comes to Special Forces mobility. I have relied on numerous ATV and LTATV while in Afghanistan and Iraq. I finally had the opportunity to operate the Strike class of vehicles. Hands down, the RPAMS LTV is the most effective platform available. Rather than think of what is the best value, these guys think of wha is the most effective for the warfighter. Doesn’t hurt to look good going to war either.
